My puter and board themes

So I change my board themes and no matter what, the colour never changes from white

I'm guessing it's some setting somewhere on my puter, anybody ideas on what???

I have XP if you need to know.

Are you sure you're logged in when the changes are made? I know that happend to me once and turns out I wasn't logged in somehow...just a thought.

Almost there deb - thanks!

I went into Tools/Options/Colours and unchecked the "Use window box" - but now I can only have a grey background and black text.

I'm positive there is another tiny box somewhere that needs to be checked/unchecked, so any more pointers???
