How do you cope with something if you don't even know what it is?
My shadows the only one that walks beside me
My shallow hearts the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there
will find me
'Till then I'll walk alone
My shallow hearts the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there
will find me
'Till then I'll walk alone

it isnt chemical, and we figured out how much of it was stress, but everyone keeps saying that there is something deeper, and I know there is, but I do not know what.

Knowing what it is doesn't always make it better.
If there is something there don't push it
You will realize what it is when your mind is ready to deal with it.
Even if it isn't chemical meds can sometimes help stablize you enough to face what is causing the depression.
Is there anythign you can do to reduce some of the stress to help eleviate some of the depression?

Sometimes meds is not the answe
Sometimes a change to lifestyle works better
Change in diet, sleep habits, exercise may be what makes all the difference in the world
Whatever yo do don't give up
Keep working to find the key that helps you
I can completely relate to feeling trapped but you have to work to find a way out of the trap.
It isn't easy but it does happen with time

Only you can decide if you want to do what needs to be done
Change is scary but the only way to get through things is to creat change
Nothing big
Start with one thing at a time and before you know it things have changed more than you could have ever imagined.
Being afraid of change does not make you crummy or a bitch
It makes you human
It makes you about as normal as normal can be.

You are not crummy. You are not a stupid bitch. Not doing things doesn't make you a liar... especially not here. Some days it's difficult to do anything, let alone try to change your life. Even on the best days it's hard to change your life. But I agree with Jomomma, that sometimes meds are not the answer. Until we know what the answer is tho, we just have to keep plodding along, one foot in front of the other. And if you overbalance, put out your arms and I'll try to be there to grab your hand. Plod with me, Pinky. *offers a hand*. I keep tekkin everyone oh yea, I'll do this, I'll do that. but I know I won't. I'll keep bein crummy me. I'm such a stupid bitch. I keep lying and I just can't handle it. I want it all to go away. Make it stop.
You're trying so hard, Pinky. *offers hugs and kind words or anything that you want to reassure with*I know. I'll get there.
I hope you feel better, one way or another. In a way it's like my joint pain: it hurts most when it isn't clearly pain or not pain. It makes me most upset when I can't define it. My heart goes out to you
G'luck, take care,
Love
Nisi.

I have found that "knowing" made deprsesiion harder" Just because ou know and remebr something that happened or that you believe, unfortunately does not make it go away. In fact, it can cause distress because thinking about it, will not make it go away.
it seems feeling is part of the problem, but also part of the solution. What we feel tells us about our story. for example, if you felt ery alone as a child, that ws your reality, even if other people were around. Part of the solution would be to learn how to deal with loneliness.
I now have a good idea of what caused my prior depressions, but that has not made it go away, it is just an explanation, not cure.
Over time, I am sure you will gain insight, and it seems you already have some.
Pateience with yourself if possible
