general question (about codes)

Post by swanfaerie » Thu Aug 25, 2005 7:13 pm

ok, i've got a new isp, comcast. and now certain words come up in a diff colored text on my screen (it's been turned into a link).

well i DON'T like it. it also makes quoting things here a real pain in the a** cuz the code comes up in the quote vs. just the text.

do i need to change something in my bus profile?
or maybe
do i need to call comcast *sigh* again and get more techie help.

thanx,
swannie

Some isps keep their cost down by going through your text you're reading and adding in links that are "relevant". Annoying? Yes. Maybe this isn't the case, but the easiest way is to call comcast and ask. :-) What browser do you use btw?

yes that could be a right answer? Have you tried a different browser...like Mozilla Firefox? That might help things?
