Not exactly.

I found a javascript one, but it won't work on BUS posts only on your website say. Then Metzli created a (cgi?) one that seems sort of similar to how Imood works and it did work in BUS posts and lots of people were using it.... and then it stopped working: Metzli hasn't been around for a while and the thing she made seems to have gone. :(

Read about it here: http://busmail.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=59594
Someone else who is much more techie than me could make one again?

I'm on my way to bed right now, but it shouldn't be too hard to hack something up - I'll try to sort something out later on this week.

The above is for a birthday ticker, but could easily be customised for this... it'll only go up to one year, but after that if you put something like 'only## days to go until two years si free' it could be done I guess...

Anyways, just thought it was an option :)

Just thought I'd fire off a quick update - I needed a fun coding project over the weekend, so I'm hacking something together at the moment.

Hopefully they'll be something to look at later on this weekend :)

Yup - it's looking good so far, although I'm having trouble getting the actual split times working.

If anyone knows of a reliable way to get the ammount of time between two date/time sets, then feel free to shout out - if nobody does I'll have a rummage through some code tomorrow to see if I can work out how to make this thing work.

subtract the earlier date from the later date? ;)

just kidding, I'm sure you know that already, and are looking for some crazy tech answer that I don't have.

What language are you doing the code in? And is it graphic or text?

Would pretty much need to see what you've done thus far... email kasie@jmsweb.com if you want..... :)

Ok - I think it's ready for some stress testing now.

You can find it at http://counter.jellybob.co.uk/ - full instructions are on the site, along with assorted other stuff.

And just as an example, Counter has been running for Image

I had a look, and I can't understand why yours isn't working either! You definitely named it "sug160489"? If I type the url into my browser I get a 404 not found. Maybe Jon will know.

Jon... :D Is it possible to make it not display hours minutes and seconds? I don't remember what time I SIed at... ;)

Thankyou for being so clever :grad:
