email notification

Post by Proximity » Mon Aug 16, 2004 7:59 am

I get email notification of PMs, I didn't for a long time, but then I realized it was a good idea, because sometimes I wanted to be able to check pms without coming to the board, so it's like the next best thing.

it's even cool, because you can tell reported post PMs and normal PMs apart,
however

They are sent to my yahoo email, for some reason, they used to go to my normal inbox, but now they go to the bulk inbox. Can I change this?

It's not really a problem, but I'd rather have it all in one place.

you should be able to go into your bulk inbox and open the message and get a button to tell it that it isn't spam - should stop it happening

Most email services also have a thing in the Options where you can designate certain email addresses that you always want to be put through to your inbox. They are usually called "safe addresses" or something like that. Basically, you're saying that you know and trust the addy they come from to not be spam or have viruses.

ah, indeed, there is a "not spam" button, I'll use it.
