i want to have a moving avatar, should i just send the URL of it? or is that not allowed...?

Moving avatars are just animated .gifs. I think you can just send the URL.

if it's possible to get the file small enough, it'll be okay. but it's easier on the avatar people if you save the picture fromt he url and then send it in as an attachment.
