Confused - emails & MSN

Not an issue with BUS, but I thought this was the best place to put this.

I've just changed my email address in my control panel. Previously to July, I hadn't used the account for a long time.

Yet I have several emails from post masters (within the last few months) saying the email I sent failed to send.

The address I've apparently sent emails to is the avatars@buslist email address, and the message I've apparently sent is clearly not BUS or abvatar related. I know the avatars@buslist address doesn't work, hence the strangeness.

The MSN issue I have is worrying me. I've set my MSN messenger to sign me in automaticcaly when I turn the PC on. I've had three notifications so far today (within a half hour or so) saying I've been signed out as I can't sign in at two locations at once. My o.h is signed in under *his* MSN on his PC and is not having any problems.

I was told something yesterday that worried and upset me and I'm concerned that the email and MSN issues may be connected.

Does anyone have any ideas or help/advice?

not sure i understand all of that, but i'd change your email/im passwords and then see if you still have same problems?

I've changed passwords/emails/settings etc.

It's just worrying me that what I think has happened may actually have happened.

i had a thought, didnt you say you recently messed around with the firewall settings. also do you have windows live and msn on your computer? when I had both i was always getting those problems.

The error I got first of all was blaming proxy or firewall settings which I don't touch, I'm not brilliant with anything computer tech wise.

I've only use windows live, but I've had windows messenger on the PC since I got it and only had problems the last two days.

ohhh ok just randomly thinking possabilities. msn confuses me most of the time. sorry i can't be more help

Change your password again and clear the cache.
