is there a way to locate really old posts?

Sorry to ask... It's just that I am doing some insanely rough work these days in therapy and there are a few very old posts that I would really like to retrieve. I have looked in my post history & it doesn't go back far enough to get them. Also, newer posts that were linked into my place thread but were originally posted on main are not popping up when I try the link & they are not showing in my post history. If anyone has ideas about how to get ahold of them, it would be very greatly appreciated.

**Edited to say that it looks as though the board is only allowing access back to Jan 2004... the posts I am looking for were probably posted 2002-2003***

hmmmm... who would know for sure (without my having to bother deb about it.) Technically, "archive" implies that they can be retrieved, and if there is any way to do this, it would be insanely helpful...

sorry to be a nuisance, but there is one thing in particular I really am feeling the need to have.

also, that doesn't explain why I can't access the links in my place thread that are linking to things more recentl than 2004.

To speed the board up deb archived all threads which hadn't been posted on since December 2003. I don't know what the link to the old board is. We're now running on a new server which should be able to handle having everything on one board, but that will have to wait until deb has time to merge them back again. I know she's been planning to do it for a couple of months already, which implies we might have to wait quite a while (i.e. it presumably requires a lot of time and energy).

You could try pm-ing her and asking her about it.

I also miss my old posts ... it's like a part of my life, that I want to be able to refer back to, sometimes.
