Problem with HTML in posts (?)

Post by P » Tue May 08, 2007 3:13 am

Hi. I recently returned to BUS after an absence, and since I got back, there seems to be a problem with HTML code in posts: I'm seeing the code written out. In someone's signature, for example, I'll see "<center>" before a line of text and "</center>" after it, instead of seeing the line centered.

Is it just me?

<center><a href="http://buslist.org/phpBB/index.php"><b>TESTY McTEST</b></a></center>
<center><a href="http://buslist.org/phpBB/index.php"><b>TESTY McTEST</b></a></center>

did that display properly for you? :star:

Nope!

But when I went to reply, the message did display properly under <b>Topic Review</b>.

Huh?

Edited to say: And the HTML code I used in this post, which looked fine when I previewed it, isn't displaying properly for me either.

In your editing profile screen do you have the Always allow HTML radio button clicked to yes?

No, it wasn't. But it is now, and the HTML is displaying properly. I don't know when/how that setting got changed to "no."

Thanks again.
