email from "sops@buslist.org"

Mods/Admins~
I opened my email box and found an email titled "[bus board announcement] IMPORTANT - member advocate" from an email listed as "sops@buslist.org"

I did NOT open the email because I'm not sure if its legit. Can someone clear this up for me, please? I'm quite confused.

yeah, i sent it out the other day using a dead mailing list. the mass email through the board doesn't work, and i wanted everyone to know that voting is going on, because the advocates represent you.

i hadn't thought of that; it's a good point. fortunately, the email doesn't say much abotu what the board is.

thanks for bringing that up. if i need to do it again, i'll definitely limit it to people who have email notifications sent.

if i've caused anyone problems, i'm really sorry. that wasn't my intent.

Thanks for the explanation, deb, the subject made my heart do a doubletake. (the sop list is an old list for the moderators of #bus)
