not sure if admins have been working on the issue or if we need deb's input, but avatars are currently not able to be uploaded.
if any admins have an update, i'd love to know when this might be fixed?

Short answer is that we have no idea. We've been working on it, but at this point, a solution in the foreseeable future doesn't seem likely. I'm sorry about that
