lots of spam posts?

Can't someone just nix them? There's so many of them. In my day we used to kill them straight off - well,whenever we caught them...

We kill them when we catch them.

When I see it I kill it. I try to kill spammers before they ever post and I try to monitor all reports so they can be taken care of as soon as humanly possible.

- I have flagged "BoogPayoR" to be zapped by the admins.

Most of the spammers are not real - they are spambots (= software written by unpleasant people) which automatically spam forums.

BTW, the easiest way to report spam is to click on the red "!" (bottom RHS of the screen) and select "spam" from the menu. That sends a message to the admins and to the mods responsible for that part of the board.
