small text

Post by twocats » Sun Nov 28, 2010 9:13 pm

I've seen on place that people will write stuff in really small text. I can't read it. How do people read the small text?

If you hit the quote button it will appear in a normal size in the text box, you can read it there and then either reply, or just hit the back button.

That's how I do it, but highlighting then copying and pasting the text somewhere is another way if you're worried about accidentally replying with the same text.

Holding down the "Ctrl" and "+" keys makes text bigger in both IE and Firefox (and, funny thing that..., "Ctrl -" makes it smaller).

No worries :) . Just to make it clear (and I am sure that you will have figured it out :) ), you will need to keep the Ctrl key held down and keep on hitting the "+" key to make small text big enough to read.

I completely forgot abut that - oops. It works on Chrome, too. The scroll function on the mouse-pad on my netbook likes getting over-excited sometimes  so I'm used to it, but I still managed to forget
