I need to "Allow site to set cookies"

I went to start playing an online gamer earlier today, but need to change my cookies. I''m able to get the settings box up, but the instructions (below) don't match what the settings box says.

No, we're not talking about chocolate-chip cookies.
"Cookies" are little text files sent to your browser to help keep track of users.
Your browser is set to not accept cookies, so our system cannot sign you in.

Please follow the instructions below for your browser (starting at the top menu), and then refresh this page:

* Firefox:
Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Cookies tab -> Allow sites to set cookies.

I've customized the history to allow cookies and cookies from third parties but it's not saving it after pressing OK. I had the same problem with a facebook app a couple of months ago and did what I did today and that sorted it.

Any ideas?

there is another tab that says delete cookies when closing browser, I think you want to unclick that.

if you click ok, you might have to restart all your browser sessions before it takes effect. I also find clearing out the computer's cookies helps to make the settings work together properly. See if this helps at all. Perhaps people who are more firefox savvy can help because I really dont know very much except what people here on bus have told me. good luck

as for facebook.... fb just sucks and is messed up most of the time. Since I have gone back to only a couple game apps I might set my computer settings so I can read bus better.

is your setting on "delete session when browser closes" cause if thats checked, its going to delete your cookies even if you click save cookies.
