Hello
I think I've found a problem...
When you are writing a post, if you click the option beneath the smiley toolbar on the left 'view more smilies' it opens a new window of smilies BUT the post window also changes into smilies, meaning whatever you were typing is lost. Sorry if you are already aware of this or if it can't be/doesn't need to be fixed. Just noticed it and thought I'd share.
Amy.

i know there have been issues with similies misbehaving before. one thing i'd suggest is that you use the link at the bottom of the main page to clear all board cookies -- i made a change a while ago that may help with that, but i think you have to clear board cookies for it to work.
which browser?

Thanks for the speedy response, deb.
I tried the option to delete board cookies but it hasn't made a difference unfortunately.
The browser is Internet Explorer

ie has the tabs function too. its been a long time since i used ie. I think you can try mouse over the view more smilies button and select open in a new window to see if that helps

Snowangel and chey, thanks for the tip; right-clicking and selecting 'open in new window' solved the problem.
Thanks for all the input everyone
