is it broke? it says when i search that the term i am using cannot be found.

It is at least working sometimes... I did a couple random searches to test it and mine worked.
Are you searching by keyword or author? Is it a thread you can remember much about? If so, someone might remember where to find it...

i need to rebuild the search index. it's a matter of figuring out how long it will take and possibly taking the board down; i'm not sure if it can be done with the board live.
