New members can't post?

So I gave someone a link to this board and he joined up today. But he can't seem to make any new posts. It's in F/F so I don't think he needs special permissions. But is this something funky with the new board? Apparently his screen doesn't even say he has board permissions...and he said he already activated it too. Anyway, the username is StephenKerr if you need it. Thanks!

i think this is because it's not doing the auto-add to posting access thing any more. i'll add him to the posting group and puzzle out what to do about this.

I am a new member (just joined today) and this is the only forum where I seem to have the ability to post. I was going to post an introduction but when I went to tack on to the end of that thread, there was no "new post" button and it told me I couldn't post in that forum or edit, etc, etc.

Could an admin help me please? Thanks so much!

you should be able to post now. i'm going to have to figure out a better way of making this happen.
