I'm afraid I really have no idea. I wanted to have a go with the test account, but the test account doesn't have an avatar anyway so it wouldn't help.

I think I've added stuff to my sig since avs got screwed up. I changed mine about two weeks back and I think avs have been dead longer than that. I can't swear blind that that means you'd be okay though.

anyone else got evidence either way?

I've changed my sig several times lately and it hasn't had any effect on my avatar whatsoever.

Mmm. I noticed "if in doubt, don't" and just loved it!

Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable.
Let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all...

I'm one more for having managed to edit my sig without messing up my avatar.

This comes because when I was little, I used to get this little voice in my head saying "this is a bad idea, don't do it". And then I'd do it, just to check whether the voice was really right. The voice was always right and I'd get in trouble. It took me about a decade, but I finally learned to listen to the voice and not do stuff that I thought I probably shouldn't.

Thanks, prox! I've been looking for that!

Para, I saw you had it. I didn't want to put it in my sig while you had it in yours.

Prox! That's great. Thank you.

I hadn't noticed that in your sig Gwylan, but I thought I remembered seeing it somewhere else. I'm glad I'm not imagining things.....or, at least, not that.
