i see some people with tickers in their sigs, and i made one for myself. i cant seem to fit it in my signature though (something about the image being too large). i know this question has been asked in the past, but i cant seem to find an answer in the old posts. can anyone help me ?

use the HTML code instead of the BB code.

ok. can't use html anymore, cuz i have a lovely random <img> in my sig. the ticker i wanted is 415 pixels...just 15 too long.

is there a way to resize bbcode?

I cant get the ticker thing to work - i've done HTML code and only used the designs they have given me to choose from...but it doesnt show.

What am i doing wrong?

What you're doing wrong is using html code. That has been disabled on the board. try replacing the <img></img> tags with [img][/img] tags.

The way to resize an image is as follows (with the numbers being the new dimensions)...

[img=100x100]www.yourimagehere.com[/img]

But I can't get it to work...but it has worked for other on different boards. I'm not sure if it's a phpBB 3.0 thing or what...maybe someone a bit more tech than I can figure it out. Smeagol...Nils?
