How do i know, when accessing stuff on bus feels like wading through sticky toffee, if it's down to bus being slow, or my isp being totally crap? I really need an answer, because Gibtelecom is doing a phone survey right now, and I told them how C*R*A*P their broadband service is. (Which it is, genuinely, I know people with faster dialup.).
I only really use BUS online though. So how do I know if it's BUS that's slow, or Gibraltar's exuse for broadband?

you could try other phpBB-boards for a comparison, and BUS proves to be one of the slowest at times from where I access it (Germany), so I wouldn't blame your Gibraltar telecom necessarily.
Actually it really seems to depend on the moment I access it. Either it really works quickly or it takes ages ... when I notice nothing happens for 3 seconds I often start reading a news article online and usually when I finished it I can continue bussing - good way to bridge time

Try accessing some other site to see if it's bus or your isp. I usually try www.google.com because that's nearly always fast and working.
