PM's + outbox

Post by purplebanana » Sat Oct 14, 2006 8:56 pm

I was just wondering why my pm's seem to get stuck in my outbox.

It's frustarating becauseI think I have sent an important PM, and then a few weeks later I realise it is sill in my outbox.

Thanks

Jules

If a pm is in your outbox, that's because the person hasn't read it. When they read it, it moves to your sent box.
(It also means that if you change your mind about the message, you can edit or delete it while it's still in your outbox. But note that the email notification gets sent when you first send the pm.)

Stuff like that is in the FAQ, which is linked from Deb's sticky at the top.
