Just something with my ISP...

Post by s0_vErY_sCaReD » Thu Sep 28, 2006 8:14 am

To the computer whiz-people out there on BUS:

Sometimes, my computer will freeze and my ISP (Wal*Mart Connect) will have to shut down/disconnect. But, if I'm in the middle of an online-only game, I can continue playing the game, even start a new round of the same game over and over and over again. How does that work? :-? :oconf: :sconf:

some games, like flash and java ones, load a small file into your browser cache with the game. if the game generates new layouts or rounds or whatever itself, then you can still play it even if you'renot connected to the net, because the game isn't asking its server for anything. that's my guess.
