Perhaps this is a silly question, but I have finally figured out how to make the link to my place open in a separate window; however, it goes to the first page of my place. How do I fix it so it opens to my newest post?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Shanny, this is how i do it...
i go to my place and click on the last page...then i highlite and right click and then click on 'copy' to copy the link...then i go to my profile and delete the link that is there and right click and click on 'paste' to get the new link there...
hope that helps...

What Pinky said works, but it will link always to the same post (i.e. the one that happens to be last at the time you create the link), so if you want it to link to the last post of the thread you'll have to keep changing the link.

Laura wrote:Hey, I just learned a way to do this. You get the url of the topic you want to link to (i.e. the one that says t= in it, not p=). Then you add &view=newest onto the end. So to get the last post of your Place, you'd putTry it.Code: Select all

There is a drawback, though: it seems if you've already read the last post (or if it's marked as read cos you logged out) then it just gives you a screen saying ''No new posts since your last visit''. That's cos it's not actually linking you to the last post on the thread, but the last one it knows you haven't read, which is sometimes further back, or sometimes none.
