Automatic logout?

Post by Nazgul » Sat Aug 19, 2006 12:52 am

 For some reason when I turned on my computer and went to BUS, I found I was logged off and had to re-set my password because it didn't accept the one previously stored. I am set to be logged on automatically so I don't have to worry about it. This has happened to me once before, about 6 months ago or so. Does anyone know why this is happening to me? It is really annoying.

mine actually logs me out every 10 minutes or so. i don't know why. i click the "always remember me" or whatever, but it doesn't seem to work. sorry i can't help you :-? just be happy you don't have to re-enter your address and PW every 10 minutes. it's a pain in the 'you know what'.
not on BUS so much anymore- i do check PMs :)

I don't think it's my computer . . . though I don't know for sure.

I wonder if there's some kind of glitch in BUS doing this? It's weird.

Yeah, you're right. There'd be flames shooting out of my ears if I had to log on every 10 minutes. I don't think I could do it. I am at least grateful I don't have to put up with that.

It's not BUS, it's the preferences on your computer. Check your cookie handling.

when my internet decides it wants to randomly die, i often get logged out of bus. infuriating, yes, it is, but beyond checking prefs and re-logging yourself in, there's not much you can do.
there is, in the end, the letting go.
