Yep, just pm your choice of name to any admin who seems to be around. (If you're really organized, check the memberlist that your name isn't already taken.)

I don't know the limit on number of characters, but there are some quite big usernames (whoareyou?doyouevenknow springs to mind ;)). I wouldn't recommend making it too long though, cos it makes that column on the forum page go very wide.

Just a little tip: It's often faster if you pm an admin asking for a name change than if you post here about it. Not all admins read this thread.
