does anyone know how to detele (sp?) a thread?

I think (correct me if im wrong) you need to PM the mod of that forum and ask them to delete it

yep, you need to PM a mod, and they will move the post to an unviewable forum - i don't think anything can be perminently deleted, but i could be wrong!

That's pretty much right, yes.

If you've posted it and nobody has replied after you yet, then there will still be a little X in the corner -- clicking that deletes the post.
If that's gone, then all you can do by yourself is click Edit and remove the text from your post.

And yes, if you contact an admin or a moderator of the forum it's on, they can remove the post for you.
