weird, some posters have gone down to almost zero, whilst others seem to have their original post counts.

Whilst I generally don't really like the post-count-stuff , it is strange

Here to address the reason why some counts went down and others don't seem any different.
It has to do with where the majority of a persons posts were.

Deb did get rid of a lot of things but if you post only in your place and no where else then your post count most likely would not be effected
But if you post mostly in games and 50% of the threads you post in on games gets moved then your count will be different.

really hope they go back to how they were soon, although obviously making the board better is more important - it does feel weird though after ages of having multi-coloured buses :(
My postcount went to zero and it feels weird too...

I did not say that those who posted in games would be effected. That was just an example.

I am not positive here so don;t take my word for it but I beleive some of what was moved was on main. If you happened to have posted in threads that were moved then your count would be effected. If you had not posted in threads that moved then your count is nto effected.

I have no idea exactly what Deb moved so I can;t say for certain who is and who is not effected. I know mine went down some as well but doesn;t really bother me any

Nah, tis great - this was my only chance to overtake you in terms of post - it's all following a master plan

No, kidding of course, I've never favored any post-count system (i.e. 10000 posts - wow, this must be a great person / contributor) , so I don't really care. It is weird, though, that only some are affected, whilst have almost or entirely (I do not research that) kept their post count :)

Probably some solution will be found, though - btw. when using your porfile to find all posts by Vampyrella I still get thousands of hits.

Hey

Even though I know only come here once in a blue moon, it is very weird not having my post count, which used to be somewhere over 20,000 if my memory is serving me correctly.

Although most of my posts where done in games, I found that being there was an incredibly productive use of my time (not that anyone has said anything differently here).

I suppose in a funny way, one that I have only just noticed not having the post count, that post count meant a lot to me probably because it reminds me of a past time in my life when I relied so heavily on everyone here, but also the times when I was there to help others. Me and the other gamers that I used to play with often found each others company very, very useful.
This place still means a lot to me, and in a way having no post count anymore makes me feel as though I was never a part of this place at all, almost like I have to start again.

Just my two cents worth I guess

Take care
Heather
