Busmail problems

I usually download my busmail though Outlook Express, but its having trouble. I tried logging in through the webpage and also had issues.

Error messages as follows.
From OE - There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your User Name was rejected. Account: 'busmail.org', Server: 'busmail.org', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR Unknown AUTHORIZATION state command', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC91

From webpage - Bad request: The IMAP server is reporting that plain text logins are disabled. Using CRAM-MD5 or DIGEST-MD5 authentication instead may work. Also, the use of TLS may allow SquirrelMail to login. Please contact your system administrator and report this error.


Any ideas on what is happening?

I'm having the same problem. On Eudora I get "SSL Negotiation Failed: Certificiate Error: Cert Chain not trusted. Try adding this certificate to your certificate database for SSL to succeed".

And I have the same problems on the busmail web interface.

I've got it working on Eudora now, by going to the Properties for the Account, and telling it to accept the certificate. But unfortunately I can't work out how to do this in Outlook Express. It looks like the server has been changed to use SSL (means the data is encrypted), but it seems to be something that email programs have a problem with, and evidently the web interface hasn't been updated to cope with it.

can u do this for my account?? i can't seem to get into the properties/certificate bc it says there is not a certificate for the site
