For some reason I can't change my avatar to something other than what is in the gallery.... How do I put in my own avatar?

You can send your own avatar to avatars@busmail.org and it will be put in the reserved gallery for you to use.

So I sent an email to change my avatar but haven't heard anything back. When do I know if it's in the gallary? Which gallary will it be in? How long does it usually take? Not being impatient, just curious.

You just need to check the "Reserved" gallery with the highest number (Reserved9). That one's the current gallery for special, reserved avatars that only the sender-in can use.

How long does it usually take?

Our avatar wranglers get to them on a first-come, first-served basis. They work with the avatars and galleries in their spare time. Just keep checking to see if it's been put up.

reserved11 is the highest reserved section.
