how do i get it to remember me?

even though i click on the remember me or automatically log me in thing it doesnt and i have to manually do it, which is a pain in the butt. Is there anything i can do about this?

Dunno if I'm supposed to reply here, but oh well. Do you delete your cookies/history between log ins. 'Cos when I do, I have to log in manually

That happens on other sites than this one...think they store your log-in as a cookie.

Other than that, I don't have any suggestions.

Are you accessing the site a http://www.busmail.org/phpBB ? If so, use http://www.buslist.org/phpBB instead.

When you log in, are you ticking the "remember my id on this computer" box? You should.

Cookies - yeah like Coritiacus said, you need to have cookies enabled and don't remove them after visiting.

Browser - On some clunky work computers the only browser is Netscape 4, and it seems that very old browsers just can't keep me logged in, I have to relogin not just every visit but sometimes during visits too

Are you using an up-to-date browser?

If it's not any of those 4 things, then I don't know! But someone will have a better idea.

thanks, i now use buslist.org and the problem has stopped. i did have cookies enabled, thats why i was so confused about why it was happening
