is report to mods button working?

it used to be when i clicked the report to mods, i'd see the pm's in my outbox or sentbox. but the last two times i've reported spammers, i don't see the pm's to the mods.

is not seeing the pm's part of the upgrade or is it busticated?

I can't tell without reporting a random post to moderators

It is possible that it is working without you seeing them though. It's possible that some sort of generic account has been created that sends the PMs saying "Someone reported somepost for somereason", or that the mods are notified in a different way. Then again, it's possible it's not doing anything.

i just tried to click it in spirituality (b/c then I would get the pm) but it just flipped me to the Index screen. And there is nothing in my inbox, sentbox, or outbox.

Didn't think to check this, but the report to moderators button is just a link to http://buslist.org/phpBB which will fling you to the Index. I can't think of any way that that can report somebody's post unless everytime you go to the index you report someone's post

It didn't used to do that so when Deb changed things around it may have reset that link

I don't understand all the admin stuff either... but yeah I can't open pm notifications whether they are annon or specifically from a user... has been this way for a long time. I've been requestion email notifications when a user has been given.. other than that it is annoying.. In my case it just takes me back to my inbox... anyway hope this makes sense to someboady

it's sort of working -- some of the messages can't be opened. i'm not sure if jon is around anymore or not, but i may have to find another report thingie.
