Search problems

Post by EllemyshShade » Sat Jan 15, 2005 12:12 am

Hi,

I can't "view new posts since last visit" anymore. For some reason, it won't work! Another thing is that the "view your posts" isn't working either, I keep getting other peoples search results or something.

Not a big deal, just thought I'd let someone know.

I think that has always been happening randomly for no reason, it's not a new problem.

Do remember also that since the problems were fixed searches won't include really old posts anymore, at least thats if I understood correctly what Deb said.

yeah, on word searches you get no old topics cause the word table got nuked inadvertently. (phpbb indexes each word of each post in a separate table.) you can still do author searches, searches for your own posts, and searches for posts since last visit, though.
