I looked as well, and at least all of your posts are still there. I clicked and looked at your profile, and it said that you had 1079, so you must still have your posts. It's weird that your count went down though.

My count is 14 posts higher than I actually have. I think I might have had some deleted or something. I wouldn't worry about it. Nobody thinks any less of you cause of your post count. It's just a number. Seriously. That's all it is, in all it's entirety.

Are there specific ones that are missing?
I find the Search facility does behave oddly at times. And my own post count is higher than the number I get using Search (for posts not topics of course), although it's not out by much so it could be due to some things getting deleted.

Post count isn't a big deal, like you said. Maybe try to work out which posts it is that you can't find? What forums, what subjects?

ok now when i click on my name and find all my posts i have eveything (0ver 1119 posts).
When i go through the board it say i have 756 or somethin like that, but for the number of posts i have it says around 580.

Like last night is was because it was like all the time i spent here was for nothing, or like part of me was missing. I dunno!

Have you given anything while you have been here?

If the answer to either of these questions is yes then your time here was not for nothing.

Posts are important if you want to remember things or go back and see where you have been compared to where you are now but other than that all they are are numbers.

You are important to this community because of what you give not the number of times you have posted.

Thats how i felt last night. I know it wasn't for nothing, i've help people and they've helped me!

If it can be fixed great and if it can't great, too!

I just don't want to lose any of posts thats all. I also just wana know why it happend.

ya my computer hates me, what can i say.

Thats kind of why i was worried, i thought maybe my computer hasd somethin to do with it.

I don't wana take any chances on screwing up my computer cause i just had to get a new computer cause it got screwed up.

I realize how it seems thats all i care about the post count. Which isn't true! I was just in a bad place last night and it kind of set me off.

I'm so sorry if it seemed that way to anyone. I don't want you all to think i'm selfish. I guess this post may have all kind of made you think i'm selfish. I try not to be a selfish person. Sometimes i don't think about other feeling, not on purpose but just because i'm having problems of my own.

I love it here on BUS. I would never want any of you to feel that your just another number to me. I feel like i have gotten alot of help, scence i came here. I hope i have helped some of you as well.

I hope you can forgive me. I'm only human. I do my best.

i think that your new resolution to limit yourself to 30 posts a day until you get this under control is a really good step, and so is your decision to be more careful about posting one-liners. thank you for how hard you've worked with me on this issue.

You've grown up a lot, Lyndsie.

I know how that could scare you. If my post count was down a bunch, I'd be like...wtf...and I'd hate losing my thoughts and memories that I've shared on here.
trying to follow in the footsteps of the masters,
but it's a lot harder than it looks because even though
they had the same size feet as us, they weren't looking
down the whole time while they walked to make sure
they were doing it right.
