what had happened just before?
I ate dinner

what were you thinking and feeling?
Sad and upset. I don't know why..school and my life.

why did you end up hurting yourself then instead of some other time? was there an event that was the final straw? what was it?
No, it was a BIG trigger I didn't cut for two days.

how did the situation get to the final straw stage? trace it back through the events that led up to the last event. look for some point at which you could have made a different decision and not arrived at the final straw.


were there outside factors like drugs, alsohol, being off your meds, lack of sleep, etc? can you address those in the future? how?
Not really, just School and having no friends

what other ways of coping did you try besides self-harm? how well did they work?
I ate dinner..annd tryed to go to sleep. Didn't work very well


in retrospect, are there coping methods that you now realize might have helped? what were they?
Maybe drawing on my skin or using the computer.

You said you were sad and upset. Can you think of any more feelings? Can you specify why you were sad and upset? What could you have done about that instead of cutting?

Well, I was stressed out and I felt like I was a falliure

No, I'm just hating everything right now. I have no social life and I have no fun..nobody really cares except for my parents and nobody at school likes me.
