have you taken care of your physiacl wounds? if not, go do that now. we'll wait.

yes, i cleaned them all.


* what had happened just before?

I just over welmed and unsure about what to do about "Everything" thats going on in my life.

* what were you thinking and feeling?

I was thinking about my friend and about running away. i was feel alone and unsure.


* why did you end up hurting yourself then instead of some other time? was there an event that was teh final straw? what was it?

My emotions i felt were too deep to handle on my own, and i just needed something, maybe even anything.


* how did the situation get to the final straw stage? trace it back through the events thatled up to the last event. look for some point at which you could have made a different decisiona nd not arrived at the final straw.

I just felt alone with no release. i should have talked to Susan or someone at school.

* were there outside factors like drugs, alsohol, being off your meds, lack of sleep, etc? can you address those in the future? how?

Their were no outside factors, excpet life, which i don't think counts, at least to this idea.

* what other ways of coping did you try besides self-harm? how well did they work?

I don't remembe rif i tryed any or not. I think i may have and they may have wirked but i didn't think to use them at the time. Then again they probably wouldn't have been enough, at those moments.

* in retrospect, are there coping methods that you now realize might have helped? what were they?

Playing with play-doh, or clicking a pen. I'm not sue if they would have help by themselves, but i can find them some what helpful to get over small urges.


* name at least two things you will do to help yourself remember those coping methods if you end up in this situation again.

I will try to remember to look in my pruse. Cuase thats were i would keep those things. LOL I keep play-doh in my purse.


* how do you feel about the situation that led to self-harm now? is it resolved? if not, what are some steps you might take toward resolution?

It is not resolved, I think i'll talk to Susan, my school therapist and see what happens and what can help me resovle all that is going on bad in my life.


* are you likely to be in that emotional place again? how will you recognize it when you're in that situation?

I feel like this all the time lately so I JUST KNOW! (Some how.)

* what will you try before you resort to self-harm if you're in that situation again? list three specific things you will commit to trying.

I will try talking to someone at school before i go home, so things don't get any worse. I'll go for a walk. I could read as well. SO I'll try to try those three things next time and hopfuly they will all help in some way.

sounds like you have a hard time trying to remember coping things before you si. How can you help yourself to remember these three things before the next time you want to si?

I've realized this also. I'm actually trying tot hink of a way.
At the moment i think i kight put a list on my bedroom way that way I'll be able to se it when i want to cut and I'll be forced to think of other ways to cope. Hopfuly that will trigger me to use other coping methods.
