This is a thought. SI serves a variety of purposes for a lot us, and stopping at once can be overwhelming. Perhaps you could focus on not SIing for one reason at a time, and give yourself things to do for each purpose SI serves.

So I guess my question is maybe for each thing you use SI for, try filling in the blanks:

"I will not SI when I feel ____. Instead I will do ____ and ____."

example:
I will not SI when I feel need to get rid of bad thoughts. Instead I will go driving and make lists of positive things.
