After You Beat an Urge
How do you beat your urges? Examine how you beat the last one so it can help you beat the next one.

Did I identify what feelings were leading me to want to SI?
yes I answered the questions on here

If Yes - What were they, and how did I figure them out?
It's a feeling of being overwhelmed with stuff that mainly makes me feel urgy at the minute

What coping skills did I use to deal with these feelings?
I used the exhaustive list of coping methods and invented a game that involved stabbing a bag of potatos with my lovely girlfriend.

Were these coping skills the most effective I could have used?
I don't know if they were the most effective but they worked.

Why do I think they worked?
It was a massive release of frustration to stab the potatos and to have my girlfriend try to understand what I was feeling and try to come up with ways to help cause she was feeling similar for different reasons, well it was very helpful.

How can I deal with these feelings more effectively next time, before the urge to SI sets in?
I'm not sure, but I get the feeling as a household we'll be going through a lot more potatos.

Sounds like an awesome way of coping with urges to SI, and very original, which is great, so nice one :D

How about mashing potatoes, and then you got dinner as well? ^.^
