  • Why do I feel I need to hurt myself? What has brought me to this point?
    Find it hard to describe it.
  • Have I been here before? What did I do to deal with it? How did I feel then?
    I restricted my eating one time, most times I lashed out on something. I felt OK again.
  • What I have done to ease this discomfort so far? What else can I do that won't hurt me?
    Um. Sleep. Music.
  • How do I feel right now?
    Very slightly irritated, with a gnawing sense of worthless and helplessness.
  • How will I feel when I am hurting myself?
    I don't know. I haven't done it yet.
  • How will I feel after hurting myself? How will I feel tomorrow morning?
    Ashamed.
  • Can I avoid this stressor, or deal with it better in the future?
    I can deal with it better.
  • Do I need to hurt myself?
    No.
