We should all take turns sending a newbie a PM. Like, have a list and someone could keep track of it, and whenever there was a newbie, assign that person to someone on the list and they'll PM that person and talk to them, and then next time another person could do it and so on and so forth.

Comments?
trying to follow in the footsteps of the masters,
but it's a lot harder than it looks because even though
they had the same size feet as us, they weren't looking
down the whole time while they walked to make sure
they were doing it right.

good idea! As I'm new here (just joined) how does this work? IS there a list? Or are we just supposed to take note of the name of the newest person in and send them welcome PMs...??

oh and I sent one to got_pointe...she's cool, but is going to be gone of a few months...*sigh*

I was thinking... what if someone (I'll do it if you want) listed all the newbies each day and then ppl replied to this to post who they'd PMEd? That way we'd be more likely to get everyone? It'd also save everyone looking up newbies themselves?

I'll start with todays...

well_ya_know
ballet_dancer7
thumbtack89
FallenSeraph
Katlyn
Aggee_Worrier
Say no
FadedDream
jgold
nomatterwhat
greatdane718

From looking at their first posts, I think Aggee_Worrier and nomatterwhat are F&F, so maybe their PMs need to reflect that?

What do you all think of this?

Sounds like a good idea. I like it that we might be able to target the pms so they're a bit more personal- like ff or long days arc, etc.

Ok, these newbies joined today.

mortalsin
SwampSparrow
dentedplaster
teddes1
healer
Crimson Tears
Chloe

SwampSparrow has posted on arc already... in case that helps.

I've not had a chance to pm any of them yet! Sorry, I'll hopefully have more time after this weekend.
