New BUSsers not checking their PMs

Um ive been PMing as many new BUSsers as i can these last couple of days and have noticed that more than half of the PMs i send out dont get read yet ive seen them posting on the boards so know they are logging in, i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas about how we can make them more aware of the PM box and how they check them and things? Im sorry if this has already been mentioned, my internet is so slow it takes 5 minutes to load a page right now so i dont really want to search all the threads to have a look for it, sorry
