k8ty was talking about this in #bus a few minutes ago, and i thought it was a really great suggestion.

whenever you have an urge to si, go grab some play-dough. you can either mould into whatever shape that you wish to, or you can cut up the play-dough, so instead of hurting yourself, you are taking out your urge on the play-dough.
there is, in the end, the letting go.

i like play dough and plasticine because the smell reminds me of being a kid and that makes me feel safe.

Plsy dough rules its one of the things id always want, used to have a pack of plasticine when at uni really helped, but play dough smells much better and of childhood!

i use play doh to help me cope with my anxiety, when i used to si i used play doh to help me cope with the urges but it also helps to cope with anxiety , i really like play doh,

thanks for posting this, cause right now im strugggling with anxiety and im going to use play doh to help me cope with anxiety.

I *love* playdough and do find keeping my hands busy with something like that helps :)
