making friends...
well, seeing as how i've lost a bunch of friends once they found out i SIed, does anyone have any tips on meeting people? i'm not in school right now, and my workplace only has 10-15 people on staff... so i'm pretty much stuck with whoever i talk to at work and meet online.

One of the best ways is to think of something you like doing and join a club or take an evening or weekend class because then you know that the other people there have something in common with you right away and its easier to find things to talk about with them and get to know them.

I agree with jaded, by doing something that you enjoy doing you will meet others with the same interest. Do you have any hobbies that you could perhaps join a club for?
