Hello and welcome to BUS :moove:

Well, if you want a bigger list of things to try, there's quite a few at the top of the Coping forum ;) But you seem to be saying that delaying and distracting doesn't really help in the end? Have you tried to work out what it is that makes you SI - what feelings is it, where does the urge come from? There's a bunch of questions you can ask yourself (again at the top of the Coping forum) or you can try writing or drawing not to distract but to process and release what you're feeling. That might work better, I don't know.

Take care
Love Laura :java:

Having a long list of things to do does help (and the list at the top of coping is super), but like Laura said it is also important to figure out what triggers you to SI and how you can deal with those feelings.

Welcome to the boards :moo: Hope you can get the help you need.

I know how you feel. Probably the best way is to figure out the root of it, but sometimes that really feels like a daunting task. What usually helps me is seeing friends, or being somewhere public, not letting myself be alone.

Hope this helps!
