I'm so sorry, mate.

It's so devestating when pets become ill...I've had a lot of experience with that unfortunately and it still upsets me years on.

I'm thinking of you and sending lots of ****hugs****

Take care of yourself.

I have a friend who's cat had that. It lived quite a few years after it was diagnosed.

I have a cat who means the world to me. I know it's difficult coping with this.

It's hard I suppose, but try to enjoy the time you have with your cat now. Mine's 20 years old so I know that.. he's not going to last too much longer.

Prepare yourself, but don't spend time crying that you could be spending playing with it :)

In the end I guess.. when pets die, you end up crying for yourself.. that you don't have them anymore. Because often it's better for them to be at peace than in pain.

thanks black 23, 5th, licentia poetica

i really appreciate your support...

i think it's just the whole shock of finding out my cat had that FIV, and what the Vet had said, that she could live a short life or longer...that scared me so much and that's why i cry so much....but now it's more like being sad...i guess i didn't really know that FIV could strike a cat so young. esp when we had her tested when we first got her...

so yeah i do spend as much time with her as much as i can and enjoy just being there for her...and i am glad that my other cat is also there for her...she misses her playing with her, but still loves to sleep near her and groom her (she does that a lot that's why she has so many hairballs)...

anyways, still coping....anyone who prays, please pray too for me and my cat

I'm so sorry Collide! :1hug:

My friend's dog is dying from liver disease and she is very sad and cries at times too, but she trys not to cry in front of the dog, she is trying to give the dog the best last years of her life, a happy life right to the end.

Just thought you'd like to do that for your cat.

I know it is very sad. I had a similar experience when my last cat got diabetes too. It is very sad when your cat is sick and you know they are gonna die, but you don't know how long they are gonna last.

I feel so much for you Collide.

You are in my heart and prayers. :pinkheart:

Maybe that's what it's all about after all..."
