Made a coping box

Post by JustSmurfy » Fri Jan 12, 2007 1:20 am

I made a coping box today, or shall I say am making one

So far I have:

Playdoh
Tangle
handheld Yahtzee game
gameboy game
gamecube game
sketch pad and pencils
pictures of my cat
stuffed toy
karuko book
pic of my mom and me
pic of my therapist
body spray in my fav scent

I also emailed my therapist and asked him to write me a letter to put in there. I don't think I'm worth it and feel terrible for even asking. Especially since he just sent me a pic of himself. I feel like I've asked too much favors lately. As we both have AOL mail I'm tempted to unsend that email....

that's a nice coping box you're organising there. :)
there is, in the end, the letting go.

I put in mine some greeting cards that people sent to me that really meant something to me. That made me feel good inside. So I could read them over and over again. Good for when I am feeling bad.

Maybe you have some of those you could put in? :star:

I really like that idea.

It made me think I might do something similar but I was thinking maybe do a box and cover it in pretty things and put a hole in the top and then when I feel crap, write down why and post it into the box... hmm a project, I'm excited!

Thank you for that JustSmurfy!

Glad I could help.

I decorated the outside of my box with a bunch of bright colored stickers and a bumper sticker.

I do intend to add a thing of play-dough, a slinky and possibly a coloring book and some crayons. And a Sudoku book. Also a laser point to play with my kitty with
