Well, thinking about the speech I had to do today was stressful... it turned out ok, thinking about the power point presentation I have to give later on, thinking about the dance class (in gym) that I will have to teach, thinking about this semester in general, thinking about paranoid things like the end of the world, nuclear war, bio chemical warfare, famine, anarchy, government collapse... that's about it

hey nori

everything you mentioned started with the word "thinking" :D

it sounds like thinking about things is what is most stressful for you

i totally get that

a few things that come to mind are meditation to help with a busy mind, breathing, yoga, and then maybe trying to work on changing the things you say to yourself internally, you know, like noticing your thoughts and trying to replace them with less frightening or stressful ones. like "oh my god what if i..." interrupted and changed into "it's all right if i'm not perfect. what i can do is enough."

drinking lots of water helps for some reason and so does eating right

and taking naps if you can fit them in

i have a meditation cd i listen to sometimes that actually puts me to sleep! but i think taking breaks and time outs could be a good thing

those are the things that come to mind for me.
