it's not worth it.

just tell yourself that.

it's not wort the pain and suffering your body will go through, making yourself sick.

plus food is nutrients and energy your body needs.
there is, in the end, the letting go.

Am i correct in that you restrict? Or you *want* to? & desire to? in order to lose weight?

& then the need for food takes over & you eat something & then end up eating too much?

The trick I've found is to plan it out beforehand.

Make sure you don't deprive yourself (because it onjly makes you fall into a black/ white.. starve/ binge cycle).

I find I'm okay-er with eating a certain amount that I have planned & it stops me from bingeing later & ending up feeling the need to purge.

Umm also. when you *do* eat, do it slowly. taste it. dont just gobble everything without thinking because that sends you into binge mood.

Remind yourself that purging actually doesnt help you lose weight. It just screws up your insides & then you start bringing up blood & it scares you & you've done some real damage & in the end you're still feeling fat on a bathroom floor throwing your stomach up out of your mouth & there ain't anything pretty about that now is there?

Ultimately you have an eating disorder & you have to realise this & fight the thoughts. The bad body image has nothing to do with your body - the problem lies in your mind.

Have you any professional help?

i'd suggest eating smaller portions its easier for your body to digest and you shouldn't feel as sick after you are done eating

nothing else to say but having an eating disorder and recognizing it is a positive...and wanting to get help is also a positive...all i guess i can say is what other ppl reccommended....don't starve yourself, eat small meals, eat slow, etc
