"Taking down the barriers" - Q&A thread

Post by Licentia Poetica » Fri Oct 13, 2006 9:30 pm

:wavey: Greetings friends!

It has been a huge issue on bus for ages about bussers being afraid to approach mods because we're seen as scary or unhuman. So! as per this thread in suggestion box http://buslist.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=104030 this is our question/ answer thread.

Please ask us things to get to know us, or start random conversations.

Hopefully the thread will not merely stay on the topic of our underwear

Someone ask us a question!

Love Merc & El.

I still, to this day, don't know xD

To be honest I logged on one day to find a PM waiting for me in my inbox, asking me if I wanted to become a mod. I said yes, and well....here I am :)

argh! be careful what you wish for!

okay.. claire:

I like bolognaise but I hate hate hate parmesan cheese. Ravioli's good too.
I don't mind buses, but I've become accustomed to trains now & like them better, they're spacious.
I don't like cordial. I'm a milk person really, but water & coke zero atm
I own too many shoes *counts* .... 23 :o
Movie lol, i'm a modern girl.
Blue towel at the moment.
My desktop is a picture of Tiah Eckhardt, an Australian Model wearing a really funky outfit.
The sky is blue because it's too damn bloody hot in Sydney at the moment.
Daytime tv... :o my mum loves Judge Judy so sometimes I watch that. Oprah & Dr Phil annoy me, I used to be terribly addicted to the Young & the Restless, like I'd tape it when I went to school every day. But that's the last you or I EVER mention that.
Football, cricket, golf, it's all the same to me
aaand
I speak Polish because my mum's side of the family is Polish, they came here in 1961 when my mum was 11. Polish was my first language. I went to preschool and couldn't understand anyone :o Not that it mattered much to me because I was reading in English at 4, I was engaged to a boy called Anthony at 5 (you should've seen my ring ) and I was the best speller in first grade lol.
I speak Polish to my mum , my grandmother, one of my best friends, her mum & my aunt.

The meaning of life is 42 :)

I think fluffy clouds are ace. Especially those cute ones on Yoshi that if you jump & crash down onto them, money comes out. I wish I could do that in real life  Might pay for my shoe obsession :o

I am definately NOT a morning person. I'm not really a night person either.. I think I'm a 2 am person, which is morning, but I mean before I've gone to bed.

I love pancakes (sometimes :o). But only the ones I make. I like maple syrup but normally I just like them with butter. What you call jelly I call jam & I love that on toast, but not on pancakes.

*laughs* ah wait til snow gets online & sees this..

Good answer
One day I will not think...I will just be...
