hey guys...right now I really need 3 things. I deffinetly need hugs because I'm so depressed right now I want to die, I really need private messages so I can know people really do care about me, and I need a big band-aid for my heart...to make the pain go away. ~Rhonda

When I saw the subject, it reminded me of a metaphor I use with my best friend who also SIs.
One time on AIM when she really wanted to cut, I told her... something like this:

Her: "It hurts so much"
Me: "well then... let me be your Band-aid."
Her: "this is too big a pain for a meer band-aid to fix"
Me: "Well, even if I can fix it all up, and make it all better, I'm your band-aid all the same. Band-aids may not heal big, deep cuts... but they can make them smaller, keep them from getting infected or worse. They can fade scars."
Her: "...*sniffle*"
Me: "...so then... let me be your band-aid?"

...that was the last time she felt like SIing.

*sniffle* sorry for the sob-fest.

So, anyways, back to the point, lol.
