Re: Your life in 5 years......?
I like this idea. Although thinking about the future terrifies me, maybe it's not that hard to see my life five years from now.
My life in 5 years:
I have just finished my degree in hispanic language and literature, I'm just finishing my thesis.
I have a job at the newspaper and I plan on publishing a poestry/short stories book.
I'm perfectly fine with my emotions and feelings and myself in general. I can talk about it with people.
I'm saving money to move to Mexico city to start my master degree.
I haven't SI in five years.
I've swum with whales!

Re: Your life in 5 years......?
A little late coming back to this as I haven't been on BUS for 2 years!
So;
I finished an OK thesis - I wouldn't call it brilliant
I got a couple of papers out of it, one in a well respected international journal.
Decided on industry rather than academia and have a job, my own flat and have moved abroad.
At 5 years I think I just about had a boyfriend, I now have a fiancé
Mental health is not perfect but stable and I have a better range of strategies and am better at catching things earlier - ADs work, I should have tried them 10 years earlier.
So next 5 years;
Living in another country
Married with child(ren)
Still enjoying my job, hopefully a job grade up

In 5 years I hope to be
Celebrating my 6 year wedding anniversary
Enjoying having a toddler (maybe two)
Have my MSW and a Master's level position at the agency I'm at now
A proficient skydiver
Living truly mindfully
